Biography

I finished a master in Biology in 2007. Then I travelled to France, Spain and Portugal where I discovered Permaculture (Introduction course) and worked in eco-construction with earth and wood. Back in Belgium, I searched for a long-term experience in permaculture and found one in La Palma (Canary Islands). It was an action learning program (more information in Spanish: http://aprendizajenaccion.pbwiki.com/) organized by Stella in her farm. I stayed there 5 months from march to august 2008. This program was a PDC course and also let the opportunity to put in practise the theory, working in the farm with a small community. I learnt techniques of vegetable culture, ecoconstruction and also a lot about myself and about people in general. It helped me to structure my vision and to be more effective in my daily life.

Back in Brussels I participated in existing urban projects (urban collective garden, design of a urban farm and constructing compost toilets for eco-events).

From october 2008 to june 2009, I was in La Sorga, an ecovilage in Dordogne (France). There, I organized a Permaculture course with Steve Read (Université Populaire de Permaculture) and began to teach basic Permaculture.

Now back in Belgium, I'm helping with another PDC taking place in the association Cense-équi-voc near to Hannut.

I'll also be assistant in the PDC before the Permaculture festival in Bourgogne at the end of august 2009.

Projects

• I'm begining my diploma so I am trying to document all my experiments...  
• I'm especially interested in designing sustainable system and in forest garden... 
• Now I have a good base in theoritical sustainability but I haven't lived in a real sustainable ecovillage so I'm looking for an ecovillage to live for a year (or more) in order to see and experiment sustainability.

Offers and wants

I offer help in developing and teaching permaculture, designing sustainable systems and participating in projects.

I would like to see forest gardens and learn how to establish them.
